Auf Mauer bauen
2019
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall, I traveled the 43km that divided the city, telling stories of everyday life through the transformation of the urban landscape. Despite the "rhetoric of reunification", within the city, today's gentrification and the consequent social changes haver led, more or less directly, to the proliferation of new borders: dividing lines that cut the urban space making it heterogeneous and fragmented. If therefore the fall of the wall represented the recomposition of two worlds, other contradictions are present today in the German capital.
